Theroux is a Space Invader

Submitted by Melissa Molina on November 18, 2009 – 12:41 pmNo Comment

JTM-028362Justin Theroux has found himself something to shoot at as he jumps on board to pen the script to Space Invader. Yes, I know what your thinking, is this a movie adaptation of the popular arcade game released in the late seventies? This is the part where I break your heart and tell you yes, it’s based off of that. Mike Lisbe and Nate Reger sold the project and penned the original draft of the comedy, which centers on a man (Will Arnet) who decides to go to space after he suspects that his longtime girlfriend, an astronaut, is cheating on him with another spacewalker (THR).

The production company on this project is Davis Entertainment with Principato/Young. Theroux helped write the upcoming Marvel Studios film Iron Man 2 and will be appearing in the medieval comedy Your Highness that comes out October 1rst, 2010.
