The Walking Dead and Dexter are killing the competition
Varous sources are reporting the numbers for the season finale of AMC’s The Walking Dead and they are mind-blowing. Also, next Sunday is the last episode of this year’s Dexter, the best show on television, and it has already been picked up for its sixth season! Genre television is stronger than ever right now.
The Walking Dead
“The sixth and final episode, “TS-19,” garnered over six million viewers in its debut 10 p.m. airing, making it the most-watched episode of a season that became the most-viewed drama series in basic-cable history for the adults aged 18-49 demographic.”
Dexter
The president of Showtime on the renewal: ‘Dexter’ is the best suspense drama on television,” said Nevins. “To grow its audience so significantly in its fifth season is an enormous accomplishment by this amazing cast and crew. This is the easiest decision I’ve made since I got to Showtime.”

Wasn’t too carzy about ast night’s finale, but still look forward to S2.
I enjoy THE WALKING DEAD; favorite aspect is the cop who was boinking his partner’s wife. That’s going to come out sooner or later and then it is on.

I think Dr. Jennner told Rick that Lori is pregnant and how far along she is.
If I’m right, then he’s doing the math and will figure it out.
I have the season finale DVR’d, but if it’s as bad as episodes 2-6, I’m not going to return for the next season. After an amazing premier, everything after has been such a let down. The acting is ok at best. The writing has been really off. The only good things it has going for it are the effects are amazing and the idea it a good one. They need to get the writers from TERRIERS (now that it has been cancelled) to come in a show them how to write a great script.
