The Road gets a release date!

Dimension Films has finally given its oft-delayed film adaptation of The Road its release date today, citing October 16th as the day we will finally see the film hit theaters. The film tells the story of a post-apocalyptic world, where Mortenson’s character tries to get his son to safety, while avoiding cannibals and other thugs trying to survive.

The Road stars Oscar nominees Viggo Mortenson, Robert Duvall, and Charlize Theron.
