The rewriting of Spider-Man 4

Gary Ross, director of Seabiscuit and Pleasantville, is set to rewrite the upcoming Sam Riami directed Spider-Man 4. This will be the third attempted rewrite on the script, with one done by James Vaderbilt and David Lindsay-Abaire. Not that this means much, other than trying to perfect the film, and hey, after the very lukewarm Spider-Man 3, I’m all for trying to make this new one better. It just seems odd.

Everyone’s friendly neighborhood Spider-Man will swing back into theaters May 6th, 2011.

  1. They probably have to rewrite the script b/c in each one of them it involves Parker finding Mary Jane’s corpse in his bedroom, but seriously I have no hope for this film at all anymore…the more I hear the less I care.

  2. I hope they have Shocker, Mysterio or Lizard. I’m place some money on Vulture.

I think using The Lizard(and ONLY The Lizard) is a must b/c they have already setup Dr.Connors…its now or never.
