The pope gives his approval on Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

After years of judgment against the Harry Potter franchise for its ‘anti-catholic / anti’religion’ themes it seems the pope has taken time of his busy day doing whatever it is popes do when not cruising around in the pope mobile to sit down and watch the world’s favorite boy wizard do his thing in Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince.

In the Vatican’s newspaper, which is over ruled by the pope, they state that the film achieved the ‘correct balance’ of adolescent love which made the film more credible to the audience….whatever that means.

The paper later goes on to say; said the latest installment made clear that good should overcome evil – a fight that sometimes “requires costs and sacrifice”.

“In addition, the fitful search for immortality epitomized by Voldemort is stigmatized,”
