The Playstation 3 Joins the Netflix Party

Well, it’s coming. This time last week, Netflix decided to announce the upcoming addition of the Playstation 3 to the list of Netflix-ready players. As it’s set up right now, the Netflix disc must remain in the system in order to use the service. The plan is to integrate Netflix into the actual XMB, the console’s menu system, by the end of 2010. There’s no difference between Sony’s Netflix service and any other enabled player, namely Microsoft’s Xbox 360. If you’ve not signed up for the disc yet, you can do it here.

I’ve signed up for my disc, despite already having a 360 with a gold account. But I use my PS3 significantly more than my 360. My 360 sounds like a little plane about to take off if I use it for more than half an hour. Anyone else use Netflix? What player do you use?
