The Host is the latest remake to plague our theatres.

The fantastic Korean horror film The Host is the latest film in the current ‘trend’ of remakes flooding our theaters and so far the best news we have so far is that Pirates Of The Caribbean director Gore Verbinski is producing with Fredrik Bond at the helm .

For those of you not sure with Bonds work here at slash film they have  a few snippets of his work in commercials.

Anyone think The Host warrants a remake ? Do people hate subtitles that much ? Maybe we can find a reason why good films must be touched as well as  films that are still to recent in peoples memory .  The Host was just released in 2006 and [rec.] was released in 2007 which then came to theaters this summer in the form of Quarantine.
