The Hobbit filming in the Summer

hobbit_coverPeter Jackson loves to keep us in constant anticipation to an extent, but when your pushing back your initial filming start date then you would start wondering what exactly is going on here. This is the case with The Hobbit, Jackson’s latest upcoming project that he’s been slowly but surely piecing together for awhile now. Fans of the Lord of the Rings trilogy have been waiting ever so patiently for the prequel to the series, and now they’re finally getting it. Here’s more from TheOneRing.Net:

We’re currently working on the second script which we hope to have completed by the end of this year or beginning of next. When the scripts are completed, we can begin with the exact calculation of the necessary budget. We hope to start filming in the middle of next year. However, we’ve received no green light from the studio yet.

The green light from the studio should not be too hard of a decision. Of course, knowing the huge size of effects and all that the Lord of the Rings movies consist of, we can expect this puppy to have a really big price tag on it. With all of the buzz going around this film though, could it live up to the hype?
