The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo may finally see U.S release!

The worldwide box office hit, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo may finally be closer to getting its stateside release, after the film’s marketing issues overseas.  Tattoo, tells the story of a journalist who gets in the middle of the seedy underworld when hired to tell the story of a powerful family.  Music Box Films, is still mulling over the details whether to release the film here in the states due to the film’s box office promise, but debating whether a foreign language film will play well.

Remake rumors have been rampant since the film’s success overseas, but directors such as Quentin Tarantino who have expressed interest in the material have remained pretty mum on the remake front.
