The Flash Movie Still Bookin’ It!
Many a comic fan are waiting with baited breath for the silver screen adaptation of The Flash. Recently producer Charles Roven said that his rights to an adaptation of The Flash had been assimilated by the newly-formed DC Entertainment.
With the new developments from DC Entertainment, they’ve proceeded to re-evaluate the development status of all current projects to retain brand-integrity. While Roven’s previously said that his version of The Flash really wasn’t ready, common code for “Don’t count on it any time soon,” screenwriter Dan Mazeau quickly contacted IGN to alleviate comic nerds with great news about The Flash.
“Just to chime in on your latest article: The Flash has not been hobbled. Everything is moving forward as planned. I’m still writing the script. Geoff Johns is still consulting. Flash fans have no cause for concern, and — IMO — lots to be excited about.”
So comic book nerds rejoice! One of my best friends is a big Flash fan. So big, in fact, that one of the first words from his son’s mouth was Flash. A-dork-able. Anyone else stoked about the adaptation?
