The Blind Side tackles out the competition

00026165People accept that they want a real heart warming tale to watch that was not falsely advertised as the Sandra Bullock starring film The Blind Side takes out the others. Finishing up the weekend with $20.4 Million, the true story based feature helped deflate the Twilight Saga: New Moon box office monster from it’s top spot reign. At this point it’s easy to argue that the huge base of tween fangirls and their mothers have finished doing a majority of their repeated viewings to let it start to slide. Then again, it’s not too much of a big deal counting that they’ve made a whopping $255 Million in the box office domestically alone.

Brothers managed to wrangle out a little bit of dough, despite the some what scary dramatic feel of the film, as it takes in $9.7 Million. Not much is to be said about the semi-mediocre heist film Armored only wrangles up $6.6 Million and the Robert De Niro starring picture Everybody’s Fine show’s that not everything is fine as it only brings in $4 Million. Here’s the rest of the weekend box office reported below thanks to Box Office Mojo:

I've been in love with film ever since I was a kid. The time, effort and passion that runs through a majority most film is something that's always attracted me to this field. What ended up happening with my big appetite for all things going on in the industry turned from random blurbs on Facebook to an unexpected but fun job. College student by day, movie news writer by early morning...or any time in the day and night when more news arrives. Working towards my bachelor's degree in film, what a surprise. I do other things too, like draw, write stories, maintain a social life and feed my pet dragon Lockheed. If you want to know more about me, hunt me down and just ask.
