Terry Gilliam trying to make ‘Quixote’…..AGAIN
By now Terry Gilliam’s first attempt to make his adaptation of the Don Quixote story and its horrendous setbacks and derailments are stuff of legend to say the least. Â His first attempt with Johnny Depp had such misgivings as flash floods, budget concerns, and even military planes flying over heard. Â It has now been almost a decade since the film was cancelled, and even a documentary had even been made on the film entitled Lost in La Mancha which detailed the films setbacks.
With Terry Gilliam at it again, the famed director will give it another go trying at the story which has been a passion project of his.  Once again Johnny Depp is in talks to star in the film as an ad exec who goes back in time and is mistaken to be Sancho Panza by Don Quixote.  It is now in its second attempt that the biggest change  to the script will be instead of having Depp portray an ad exec we will now have him joining Quixote as an unwitting Sancho Panza.
