Terminator 5 gets one step closer to reality
The idea of a fifth Terminator film hasn’t been popular with Terminator: Salvation upsetting more fans than it pleased. However, with the franchise rights now at  Pacificor LLC, the company is eager to begin work on Terminator 5. Now according to Sci-Fi Wire, Terminator 5 just got one step closer to moving forward.
The news is that Pacificor has hired the talent agency, William Morris Endeavor, to help sell the rights to a studio or production company. Pacificor has no previous experience in the film making industry, and this can seen as a very smart move. There were some news that Pacificor was speaking with Sony and Lionsgate about distributing a new film, but nothing more has been heard about that.
The previous film was supposed to pave way for a new trilogy, and a script for a fifth film is rumored to be around. McG has also expressed interest in returning to direct, but I think it’s safe to say he’s out of the franchise. More to come…
