Syfy set to air The Dunwich Horror remake

Jeffrey Combs and H.P. Lovecraft meet again in the remake of the 1970 film from Daniel Haller. On Saturday, January 16 at 1pm you can see if this improves on the original or if its another pile of crap for the faltering network. Dean Stockwell, who was in the original, is cast here as well.

Synopsis: Lurking in the quiet village of Dunwich, a supernatural horror lies in wait in this adaptation of an H.P. Lovecraft story. When a cute college coed (Sandra Dee) and her professor (Ed Begley) visit the library at the infamous Miskatonic University, they discover a young man (Dean Stockwell) who wishes to check out the dreaded Necronomicon. An ancient book for divining demons, the Necronomicon allows its user to bring hell to Earth, and human sacrifice is the required offering.
