Summit and Participant want an Invasion

Participant Media and Summit Entertainment are combining forces in order to bring about Invasion. The science fiction story is said to be a sci-fi action movie with an environmental theme (Variety). Ben Magid wrote up the script for the story and is attached to the upcoming comic book adaptation of Hack/Slash.
Summit Entertainment is clearly making all the right choices, not only with latching onto other potentially promising projects but with their Twilight franchise as well. Yesteday the company announced the possibility of the last installment of the series to be split into two, practically doubling the last amount of money they’ll make from the supernatural franchise.
