Stephen King adapting one of his novels for Television…again

After his numerous failed attempts at bringing quality television movies and television series based on his own creations or adaptations from others work, Stephen King is at it again developing his 2005 novella The Colorado Kid, into a one hour TV series, now retitled Haven for a yet unknown network.

The series will center on a town in Maine (not Bangor), where the residents live with a curse and try to live ‘normal lives’ on the side. But when the curse returns, detective Audrey Parker comes to the town’s rescue and unravel its secrets.

The series is being written by Dead Zone scribes Sam Ernst and Jim Dunn for E1 Entertainment.
