St. Vincent wrangles up a cast
Walter Hill is a filmmaker that has been in the business for decades but a fair number of people in this generation do not really recognize his name for directing, and for good reason. From 48 Hours to The Warriors, he’s a name that you would not know unless you adored one of the films that he’s directed. Unfortunately I am not one of those people. Do not get me wrong, he has been attached to some killer projects as producer which include all of the Alien movies. but that does not stop me from taking notice of the casting choices that are being made for his upcoming film St. Vincent.
Thrown onto the casting list is actors involve the likes of Mickey Rourke, Forest Whittaker, Ray Winstone and Gong Li. Rourke will play an aging hitman having a crisis of conscience after taking the confession of his intended target, a premise that is certainly an interesting one (Twitchfilm). The feature, penned by Cameron Young and under Premier National Studios and International Creative Management, has no set release date as of this moment.
