Spy Kids 4 gets a release date

Not only is the fourth film in the Spy Kids franchise getting a release date, it’s also being announced that it’s going to be presented in eye-popping 3D once more. Do not forget, the third film Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over was clearly presented in that third dimension. Going back to the newest movie in the Robert Rodriguez family-friendly library, Spy Kids 4 is slated to come out in theaters and presented in 3D on August 19th, 2011 says erc Box Office.

The feature is being written and directed once more by Robert Rodriguez. He’s in the middle of post-production on Machete, the Danny Trejo starring feature that started off as a mock trailer on the Rodriguez/Tarantino double feature Grindhouse. He co-directed the picture with Ethan Maniquis that also stars Jessica Alba, Robert De Niro, Michelle Rodriguez, Lindsay Lohan, Cheech Marin and many others.
