Spore: The Movie?

Fox and EA are teaming to develop a CG animated film based on the mega popular online PC game. Chris Wedge from Ice Age fame, is rumored to direct the film, with a script written from Greg Erb and Jason Oremland (Princess and the Frog).

In the game, players can create their own worlds and creatures, while sharing them with other users. I have no idea how they would turn this into a movie, but hey, I’m just a lowly film critic, so we’ll see. Look for Spore soon.
