Spielberg sees imaginary rabbits

harveySteven Spielberg has been quiet recently, but that seems to be because he has secured the rights to the 1944 Pulitzer Prize winning play, Harvey. Many of our older fans might recall it was a 1950 Jimmy Stewart film, about a man who sees an imaginary 6-foot rabbit. For those who don’t remember the film, Stewart’s character was committed to a sanitarium by his sister to avoid social embarrassment, the sister is accidentally locked up instead and soon the doctors figure out the error and rush to find him. His ramblings about Harvey however have had a positive effect on those around him that when offered a potential cure, the sister declines as she’d rather her brother be who he is.

Hey, as long as Spielberg isn’t making Indiana Jones V, I’m happy.
