Spider-man reboot will be RED and EPIC
Filming on Marc Webb’s Spider-man reboot is set to go in front of the cameras very soon, and like most of the coming films in Hollywood, it will be released in 3D. While it’s no surprise the film will be released in 3D, fans can at least breathe easy knowing the film will be shot in 3D. Now, Engadget reports that Marc Webb will be using the new RED EPIC cameras to shoot the film.
Peter Jackson was recently ordered thirty RED EPIC cameras to shoot The Hobbit next February (here), Â but Webb will get to honor of being the first to actually film with them. The new cameras are smaller and are easier to use than the previous 3D rigs.
