Sopranos creator returns to HBO for new series
Emmy award winner David Chase, who rose to fame creating the hit HBO series The Sopranos, is now finally ready to return to the cable network. Â Chase has just announced today that he will be writing and directing the first few episodes of an HBO miniseries, which will chronicle the early days in Hollywood, and will be titled Ribbons of a Dream which is taken from a quote by Oscar winner Orson Welles.
The series will show D.W. Griffith who created the controversial classic Birth of a Nation and his run ins with famous actors such as John Wayne, John Ford, Bette Davis, and Billy Wilder. The series would also chronicle the gamut of Hollywood royalty from the early days of silent films to present day cinema.  No actors have yet been cast in any roles but David Chase will return with Sopranos producer Brad Grey.
