Sony Reloads for Bad Boys 3!

Back in 1995, Michael Bay (yes, THAT Michael Bay) shot a little movie starring Martin Lawrence and fairly-new Will Smith. The movie was a cop action movie called Bad Boys. A few years ago, they released a sequel, Bad Boys II,  that was well received. Sony, in their guaranteed-to-print-money wisdom, just signed another deal for yet another Bad Boys movie.

Peter Craig, who’s recently wrote Ben Affleck’s The Town and is also penning the new Cowboy Bebop movie, was recently signed by Sony Pictures to write the screenplay for Bad Boys 3. The plan is to reunite Michael Bay with producer Jerry Bruckheimer, and stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.

All the sequels and remakes currently in work makes me a little underwhelmed for this project. Anyone else?
