Sony picks up Black Dynamite

Variety is reporting Sony has snatched Black Dynamite from Sundance Film Festival for release. The price was $2 million and Sony hopes to franchise this film, that stars Michael Jai White as an African-American action hero willing to fight The Man. The film is a wild homage to the blaxploitation films of the ’70s and it looks amazing.

I’m personally looking forward to it. Keep it here for more news on this (hopefully) bad ass film!
