Sony dismisses Logan Lerman as Spider-Man, again
Yesterday it was rumored that Logan Lerman was almost locked to play Spider-Man in the upcoming reboot that will be directed by Marc Webb. Now Deadline Hollywood reports that an insider has once again dismissed that rumor.:
“In fact, these sources were very definitive in denying the story, and were sure that Lerman was 100% not going to be Spidey and that he is not on the list of candidates being seriously considered.”
I’m still on the fence about this reboot, but I would have thought Lerman to be an excellent choice for the role. He was the right age for the character, and showed he can act in Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. The question now is who is Sony considering for the role?
