Social Network to be scored by NIN

David Fincher’s The Social Network, a film about the founder of Facebook, will be scored by Nine Inch Nails’ frontman Trent Reznor and also in collaboration, Atticus Ross, who scored The Book of Eli. “Fincher started inquiring about my interest in scoring,” but it wasn’t until Reznor read the script that he “realized what [Fincher] was up to.”

“The level of excellence that David operates on is inspiring and the entire process has been challenging and truly enjoyable,” continues Reznor. “Speaking of the film… it’s really f*cking good. And dark!” Look for the film in theaters October 1st.
