Snyder looking for a middle-aged Superman?
Zack Snyder has recently been attached to direct WB/DC Entertainment Superman reboot, but there’s still the question of who’ll be donning the tights this time. Snyder recently revealed (here)Â that he’ll be considering Brandon Routh as a possible contender, but that’s only one person that fans have mentioned as possible candidates. Another being Jon Hamm of Mad Men, but he’s recently spoke against it stating he’s to old for the role.
However, Zack Snyder may be looking for someone around his age to play Superman.
Of the many names fans have dropped is Armie Hammer (The Social Network), who seems to be somewhat of a “fantasy-casting” for Superman. When Vulture asked about what he thinks about the idea he may give a little bit more insight into what Snyder is looking for. “I did talk to my people recently about that for the first time, and I think they’re going a little older with Superman. I hear they’re going 35, 40″, he said. If true, then it could make Hamm, who has expressed interest and was rumored (here) to be wanted for the role, change his mind about the role. However, this could also dampen Smallville fans’ hope of seeing Tom Welling in the movie. No word from Snyder on whether or not this is true.

Err not to burst your bubble but Supergirl is a blonde :p
Personally I don’t think I could see Jon Hamm in the role, I mean if anything I’d be happy to see Routh in the role again.

I’m suddenly hungry for something super. Double yum. I’m just saying.
Since I already have a hot girl, I’ll say this: I want to see Superman not Superboy.
