Singleton is in for a Layover

Director John Singleton is keeping his schedule filled up as he signs on to direct and produce Layover for Sierra Pictures. Michael Browning and Jay Longino put together the script for the film centering on an ex-con whose family is kidnapped by a group of corrupt TSA agents while on a seven-hour layover (Variety).

Singleton is prepping up for filming in July on the upcoming action feature Abduction. Taylor Lautner stars as a young man who sets out to uncover the truth about his life after finding his baby photo on a missing persons website. Featuring a cast that includes Lily Collins, Abduction is poised to come out in theaters sometime in 2012.

I've been in love with film ever since I was a kid. The time, effort and passion that runs through a majority most film is something that's always attracted me to this field. What ended up happening with my big appetite for all things going on in the industry turned from random blurbs on Facebook to an unexpected but fun job. College student by day, movie news writer by early morning...or any time in the day and night when more news arrives. Working towards my bachelor's degree in film, what a surprise. I do other things too, like draw, write stories, maintain a social life and feed my pet dragon Lockheed. If you want to know more about me, hunt me down and just ask.
