Sigourney Weaver Lets Slip HUGE Plot Information of Ghostbusters 3

Submitted by Michael Cook on December 11, 2009 – 10:45 am6 Comments

Recently, Sigourney Weaver has been on the standard publicity tour for Avatar. Standard fare for any actor pushing their movie. In an interview with the UK’s Channel 4 News, aside from the film promotion, they talked about the roles she’s taken on and eventually got to the topic of Ghostbusters 3. I know that the movie’s still pretty far-off, but if you’re not in the mood to have some pretty burly plot devices thrown your way, I’d advise you not read the following quote from Mrs. Weaver about her activity in Ghostbusters 3.

“I’m afraid to say it [Ghostbusters 3] is happening, I hope people are excited about that. I don’t know if I’m going to be in it, I have had a couple of calls asking ‘would you read the script’.

“I know that my little son Oscar – who was kidnapped from me – I think he has grown up to be a ghostbuster.

“I might be in it; I see nothing wrong with being in it, although I don’t think I will have a big part. I think Bill Murray has a little more to do with it – he’s a ghost.

Wow. I was already positive about going to see this one, but that little tidbit sealed the deal.
