Sif charges on in new Thor image

Jaimie Alexander shows how good she looks in armor from the set of images captured of the EW behind the scenes footage of Kenneth Branagh’s Thor. The Asgardian warrior woman is one of many key players in the latest Marvel property turned feature length film.

Thor centers on the Norse god (Chris Hemsworth) who’s punishment by his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) transports him to Earth where he inhibits the body of the partially disabled student Donald Blake. A strange array of attacks hit his community where he learns of his true origins and takes on the hammer to become the powerful immortal.

The Marvel Studios picture is set to grace theaters nationwide on May 6th, 2011. Go on, look at the pictures down below (via CS!).:
