Serkis and others jump on Burke & Hare
Andy Serkis leaps himself into one of the lead roles in the upcoming feature Burke & Hare, reports Heat Vision Blog. The feature is a black comedy about two 19th century grave robbers who find a lucrative business providing cadavers for an Edinburgh medical school. He joins up in the role that was previously filled by David Tennant who fell out of the spot due to unknown reasons. Serkis will be co-starring alongside Simon Pegg, also in addition to the recent casting choices of Isla Fisher and Tom Wilkinson.
Burke & Hare is directed by John Landis and is penned up by Piers Ashworth and Nick Moorcroft. Serkis can next be seen in Steven Spielberg’s latest directed feature The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn and will be thrust back into Middle Earth in the Guillermo Del Toro directed two-part prequel The Hobbit.
