Season of the Witch leaves March
The Dominic Sena directed fantasy/thriller Season of the Witch is getting shuffled around, thanks to Lionsgate, reports ShockTillYouDrop. The feature was originally slated to go out in theaters on March 19th. Now, due to this change, there is no set release date for the Nicolas Cage starring flick at the moment. Season of the Witch also stars Ron Perlman, Christopher Lee and Claire Foy. The plot revolves around 14th-century knights transport a suspected witch to a monastery, where monks deduce her powers could be the source of the Black Plague.
Lionsgate recently was part of the bidding war that several other studios were participating in grabbing the rights to the Terminator franchise which inevitably went to Pacificor. Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever, directed by Ti West, is the latest to be distributed onto DVD and Blu-Ray from the company.
