SDCC ’10: Brad Pitt to star in World War Z

Zombies versus Brad Pitt? Okay! According to Max Brooks, the author of the popular book World War Z (via MTV), while at Comic-Con, he stated Mr. Pitt would be starring in the long in-development film adaptation. The first screenplay was written by J. Michael Straczynski, but was later rewritten by Matthew Michael Carnahan for director, Marc  Forster. Brooks also claims Paramount is aiming for the zombie apocalypse film for a summer 2012 date.
