Scott Pilgrim gets a release date

Submitted by Melissa Molina on January 28, 2010 – 1:38 pm2 Comments

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World is one of those under the radar features that is secretly on every other person’s list to watch in 2010 if it gets released. For a long while now we have not known the actual release date, making quite a few of us a bit weary as to when this picture will ever see the light of day. Thankfully Universal Pictures, along with the input of SuperHeroHype, finally let us give out a sigh of relief with announcing that the picture is coming out on August 13th in theaters.

Scott Pilgrim must defeat his new girlfriend’s seven evil ex-boyfriends in order to win her heart. The comic book adaptation is penned and directed by Hot Fuzz helmer Edgar Wright from “Scott Pilgrim” created by Bryan Lee O’Malley. Michael Cera stars as the title character with Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Anna Kendrick, Ellen Wong, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans and tons more.
