Saw 7 begins

According to director of Saw V and now Saw VII 3-D, David Hackl’s Facebook page, production on the seventh film has started.

“SAW VII 3D pre production begins TODAY!! I’m so cranked”, he stated on his Facebook status. “The story is always the most important thing in my opinion. This time I want it to be a game for everyone. I want to create the effect of feeling like you are right in a trap.”

Long time readers of Killer Film, should know that I really enjoy the Saw series, as well as Hackl’s Saw V, even though no other horror or non-horror websites really showed much love towards it. Their loss. I think he’ll knock this out of the ball park, as 3-D-while a gimmick-seems like it would create a great world for Jigsaw’s future games.

Look for Saw VII next October in 2010.
