Sad News, Paisanos! We’ll Miss You, Captain Lou.

One of my childhood icons passed away today at the age of 76. Captain Lou Albano, of the WWE and The Super Mario Brothers Super Show, passed away today. In addition, he is well-known as Cyndi Lauper’s father in a number of her videos.

Out of respect, the cause has not been stated, while the family’s made it clear it wasn’t cancer. Captain Lou was hospitalized Monday for an undisclosed medical problem and sent home for hospice care.
