Rubik’s Cube the movie?

While video games have shown to be popular, Hollywood has shifted gears and is looking now at board games. There’s already news of an adaptation of the  Ouija Board in the works (here), and Peter Berg’s Battleship is currently in production. Now, the famous Rubik’s Cube may be getting a feature adaptation.

What’s Playing received word that inventor of the Rubik’s Cube, ErnÅ‘ Rubik, has gotten an agent over at CAA, and could possibly could its own movie. CAA is reportedly meeting with various producers and studios about bringing the puzzle to the big screen. You may be wondering how Hollywood could possibly make a feature film about the cube, but one suggestion is that it will involve a competition to solve the puzzle.
