Rosie and Shia on Transformers 3 set

Michael Bay’s Transformers 3 is a less than a year away. ComingSoon posted new photos from the set in Los Angeles of Shia Lebeouf and new love interest Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.

The film will see Shia Lebeouf, Tyrese Gibson, Josh Duhamel, Ramon Rodriguez reprising their roles from the previous film. Also Kevin Dunn, Julie White, and John Tuturro will be returning in the film.. They will be joined by newcomers John Malkovich, Francis McDormand, Patrick Dempsey, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as Sam’s new love interest. The plot is being kept under wraps, but will supposedly tie into the space race between the U.S.S.R. and U.S.A. Transformers 3 is currently shooting.

Transformers 3 will open in 3-D and 2-D on July 1, 2011.
