Roger Avary Returns to Silent Hill
The Hollywood Reporter reported a few days ago that Silent Hill 2 is back on track. The film is rumored to be prepped for shooting after Davis Films shoots Resident Evil 4 later this year.
Avary is best known for his award-winning work on Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction, and is also penning video game adaptation Return to Castle Wolfenstein for Davis Films.
The original Silent Hill centered on a woman who travels to a town in West Virginia to seek help for her daughter, finding supernatural occurrences taking place there.
I was fairly impressed with the adaptation from game to movie. I’m rooting for more Pyramid Head. Anyone else?

Well, yes, Pyramid Head is wicked, but the fleet of nurses are neat too.
Those nurses are hot….too bad Avery is headed to jail.
