Robert Pattinson to be Peter Parker?
Every other fanboy/girl’s stomach just lurched with that title alone, along with mine. This could be nothing more than a rumor, but Ok Magazine is reporting that Twilight star Robert Pattinson is one of the actors being eyeballed to take on the role of Peter Parker in the Spider-Man remake from Sony Pictures. Along with that reportedly Youth in Revolt star Michael Cera and Chace Crawford are being looked at to fill the role as well.
Mind you, once again, this is only a rumor. Then again, this makes for quite delightful conversation, especially with the fact that a lot of murmurs of Robert Pattinson being one of the worst-case-scenario actors that a great deal of fans were hoping would not be seen attached to it.
With Sony Pictures hoping to bring Peter Parker back to high school and retell the entire Spider-Man story line by the summer of 2012, who do you think should be casted for this feature? More so, who do you think should take up directing the reboot of this popular franchise which is not even ten years old?

There must be some sort of mistake, as I think you’re implying that the Twilight movies are actually better than comic book movies, when they are really gigantic pieces of cinematic garbage spawned from even larger pieces of literary garbage.

I love how cute it is, these Twilight fans thinking that this “book” series will actually be something remembered. the only way that could happen is if VH1 does and i <3 the 2000's edition. See, if you do that in the '60's you find Spiderman, Iron Man, Hulk, you know, real characters you can relate to who are still loved to this day and find new fans in every age and gender not just high school girls having their first period. BTW, Iron Man has the highest female fanbase in Marvel Comics and he's not a 107 year old virgin.
