Riley Keough in talks to join Mad Max: Fury Road
Development on George Miller’s Mad Max: Fury Road may have been delayed, but that’s not stopping him from filling out the cast. Heat Vision Blog is reporting that Riley Keough is in talks for a role in the upcoming film.
Keough will be playing on of “The Five Wives”, a group of woman that Mad Max (Tom Hardy) will be protecting. Zoe Kravitz, Teresa Palmer and Adelaide Clemens will be playing three of the other wives. The plot is being kept secret, but will take place shortly after the previous film, Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.
This isn’t the first movie role Keough has played. Earlier this year, she starred in The Runaways, with Kristen Stewart and Dekota Fanning. The film will be written and directed by George Miller, and will be shot in 3-D. Miller is also producing with Doug Mitchell. Production is scheduled to begin early next year.
Side note: She’s Evlis’ granddaughter!
