Ricci finds her Bel Ami

Christina Ricci is the newest addition to the growing cast of the Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod directed feature entitled Bel Ami. The story is about a chronicle of a young man’s rise to power in Paris via his manipulation of the city’s most influential and wealthy women.Ricci will be playing the role of Clotide, reports Production Weekly. She will be joining the cast that includes Robert Pattinson, Uma Thurman, and Kristin Scott Thomas.

Produced by Uberto Pasolini, the feature is slated to begin production possibly sometime by the summer with a to be announce 2011 release date. The next film that Ricci will be shown in is the Tom Brady directed comedy Born to Be a Star.
