Prepare to LOL

Sure, the definition to LOL means ‘Laugh Out Loud’, but this is anything but funny as Demi Moore and Miley Cyrus both look at possibly latching onto the cast of L.O.L.: Laughing Out Loud, says Variety. The upcoming feature is a remake of a 2008 French film of the same name that was written and directed by Lisa Azuelos.

Pic tells the story of a 15-year-old girl who, dumped by her more sexually experienced boyfriend, sets her sights on his best friend. At the same time, her 40-year-old divorcee mother is struggling to move on with her life. The fraught relationship between mother and daughter provides the film with its narrative backbone, along with the younger generation’s obsession with instant messaging.

Azuelos is set to reprise her writing and directing sectors with Stacey Sher and Michael Shamberg producing. No word on when initial filming is set to start up.
