Portman found her Best Buds

Natalie Portman is in talks to star in the new comedy entitled Best Buds. Portman will also be producing along with Philippe Rousselet under her Handsomecharlie banner. The picture is written by Jamie Denbo with Vendome Pictures backing the film financially. Vendome is still in the hunt for a director for this comedy.

The story centers on a woman who’s on the verge of a complete nervous breakdown on the eve of her wedding. To save herself, she goes on a road trip to San Diego with two best friends, relying on a combo of marijuana and the bonds of their decades-long friendship (Variety).

Portman can next be seen Your Highness which is coming out on October 1rst. At the moment Portman is in the middle of filming the Marvel big screen adaptation of Thor which stars Chris Hemsworth as the Norse hammer welding god.
