Poltergeist remake gets a release date

They’re here! Look for director Vadim Perelman’s remake of the 1980 Tobe Hooper/Steven Spielberg classic, Poltergeist, in theaters November 24th, 2010. No word on stars or when filming begins. Perelman’s House of Sand and Fog is a beautiful looking film, as well as being emotionally high strung. I have no doubt that the film will visually look amazing, but what about the script?
