Pixar grants dying girl’s wish
Colby Curtin was a 10 year old little girl in Huntington Beach, Hawaii. Unfortunately, for her, she had a rare form of vascular cancer. Her mother knew she would be dying soon, but the little girl’s one wish was to see Pixar’s latest Up. A family friend made a few phone calls to Pixar and as soon as they got ahold of this story, Pixar flew an employee out to her house for a private screening of the film. Seven hours later, Colby passed away.
Any reason why Pixar is the best animated studio out there? This is just a remarkable story. Click here for the full story, the reasons for her cancer, and a little more of her thoughts on the story. Bring a tissue.
