Phillip Seymour Hoffman to make directorial debut with jack goes boating

Academy award winning actor Phillip Seymour Hoffman is set to finally take the reigns of every actors dreams to direct.   Hoffman is set to direct and star in an adapation of the play jack goes boating.  Amy Ryan has already been cast as the female lead of the romantic comedy which will have the two portray misfits who according to variety deal with everything from drugs,cooking classes to swimming classes.

Filming is set to begin this February 9th.
