The script is being penned by John Searles and Eric Garcia.”It’s a plain dramatic thriller with a big heart in the line of ‘Fargo’ and ‘A Simple Man,’ ” Alex Pastor told Variety.
“Both in ‘Carriers’ and Alex Pastor’s extraordinary short film, ‘La ruta natural,’ they demonstrated a startling, striking visual style that instantly hooked us,” said Katz, producer of the Oscar-nommed “Lost in Translation” and “In the Bedroom.”
“We were rapidly intrigued by the intricate structure of the script and amused by its brilliant and often hilarious dialogue,” added David Pastor. (Variety)
