Parenthood pilot in the works with Peter Krause.

Six Feet Under star Peter Krause has just been announced along with Maura Tierney (E.R.) as headlining an upcoming sitcom based on the popular 1989 film directed by Oscar winner Ron Howard.  The two stars are scheduled to portray TV  versions of the characters originally portrayed by Steve Martin and Dianne Wiest, who received her second Oscar nomination for the film.

The series which if gets picked up would also see the television return of Coach star Craig T. Nelson whose last starring television role was the 2004 sitcom The District.
