Written and directed by Oren Peli, the intense and chilling story follows a young, middle-class couple who become increasingly disturbed by a presence that may or may not be demonic, but is certainly most active in the middle of the night. Especially while they sleep. The DVD and two-disc Blu-ray include the original theatrical version of the film, plus an unrated version with a shocking alternate ending not seen in theaters. The Blu-ray also includes a digital copy of the theatrical version.

We deserve it because one time, in high school we had quite a freaky experience with the paranormal, which we would like to relive. The year was 1999 and nsync was still pretty famous. God was still considered a viable explanation for existence and South Park was really funny. Either way, as we slepted one day we were awakened by a strange presence in the corner of the room. It was a strange room, the bed was a hideaway that didnt fit. The entire room was covered in porcelain, it was probably some type of shower or something. I saw a large head with water in the private section of the room. Despite the oddness, a man stood over me, his hands on my throat. He choked me and choked me until I gave in. I decided to make my badass movie with an alternate ending which inevitably lead to me selling out and becoming a success. So in the end I realized, you can be a non-successful mother-fucker with all your morals and sense of identity or you can give in and make the money while at the same time giving away your moral virginity to whoever wants it.
As far as which of these people I’ve become, the answer should be obvious in the end…
